Speaking at an event in Dubai, SRK opened up about his personal journey, reflecting on the loss of his parents at a young age. “I thought they had become stars in the sky and would not be able to see me,” he said. Driven by that memory, he shared, “I worked harder to become a bigger person. God has been very kind – I just put a bronze statue in London of DDLJ, and I won the National Award. Now, in Dubai, I have a building by my name. The idea was that I become so big on earth that my parents can see me from heaven.”
