The first leak happened yesterday through a GameStop listing for the Resident Evil Requiem Deluxe Edition on PC. The listing has now been removed, but not before it was seen and documented by several gaming sites.
What appeared in the listing?
A set of cosmetic skins for a character not yet announced by Capcom. The listing included a “Shadow Walker Costume Pack” featuring three exclusive outfits and a special visor design for this mystery character.
This suggests one important detail: Grace Ashcroft may not be the only playable character, unless this mystery character appears alongside her but isn’t playable. The presence of skins strongly hints at some kind of player interaction.

PlayStation Store Accidentally Confirms Leon S. Kennedy
Just hours after the first leak, the PlayStation Store dropped another major bombshell.
According to IGN, the listing briefly displayed new cover art for Resident Evil Requiem featuring none other than Leon S. Kennedy, standing behind Grace Ashcroft in the promotional image. Fans instantly recognized him from his iconic hairstyle and jacket.
The size and placement of Leon in the artwork make it look like he might play a major role — possibly even a playable one. However, Capcom has still only confirmed Grace Ashcroft as the main playable protagonist.

Capcom is preparing a Resident Evil Requiem showcase for early 2026, and with the February 27 release date getting closer, fans expect more reveals soon. With The Game Awards happening this week, there’s a strong chance Requiem could appear again with new footage or character confirmations.
